The Weazel News Network giving you information about current events. Journalists provide news through many different media, based on word of mouth, printing, postal systems, broadcasting, electronic communication, and also on their own testimony, as witnesses of relevant events. Common topics for news reports include war, government, politics, education, health, the environment, economy, business, and entertainment, as well as athletic events, quirky or unusual events. Government proclamations, concerning royal ceremonies, laws, taxes, public health, criminals, have been dubbed news since ancient times.

Humans exhibit a nearly universal desire to learn and share news, which they satisfy by talking to each other and sharing information. Technological and social developments, often driven by government communication and espionage networks, have increased the speed with which news can spread, as well as influenced its content. The genre of news as we know it today is closely associated with the newspaper.

Weazel News Network will be the central hub for in-character news, entertainment and radio, featuring music of every genre, talk, callers, competitions, interviews and lots of interaction.

Chief Operating Officer

Complaints & Feedback - Contact Us
Discover how to submit your complaints & feedback to us.

  • We aim to handle your complaint or feedback request within 10 working days.
  • We guarantee to investigate any possible breaches of standards.
  • We do not investigate minor, misconceived, hypothetical, repetitious or otherwise vexatious complaints.
If you have a complaint about the editorial content in any of our articles which concerns inaccuracy or intrusion and the article directly affects you, then write to the editor with your complaint. We will then seek to resolve your complaint quickly and amicably. We value your feedback.

How and when to complain:

To help us report and handle complaints efficiently, we ask you to contact us using our 'Complaints & Feedback Service' form. If you do not, we cannot guarantee your complaint is seen by the right people or that you will receive a reply. If you need assistance please contact us.

If you have a complaint about a news item which was broadcast or published, either online or other, you should normally complain within 7 working days of the transmission or publication. Please make one complaint rather than multiple issues which may complicate any investigation and delay our reply.

What happens next:

We will investigate possible breaches of standards, we may not reply in detail to other points such as comments, further questions or matters of opinion. For consistency and to minimise costs to us and the state, if we receive other complaints about the same issue we will send the same reply to everyone and may publish a response on our website.

We email or post over 90% of replies within 2 weeks (10 working days) but cannot always guarantee this. It will also depend on what your complaint is about, how many others we have and practical issues such as whether a production team is on location or otherwise away. If you are dissatisfied with our reply you should re-contact us in writing within 7 working days explaining why. You may be able to take the issue further .

We do not investigate minor, misconceived, hypothetical, repetitious or otherwise vexatious complaints which have not suggested evidence of a breach of standards, or are gratuitously abusive or offensive. When handling your complaint we will treat you courteously and with respect. We expect you to show equal courtesy and respect towards our staff and organization and reserve the right to discontinue correspondence if you do not, and in some cases we may use your personal information to stop such behaviour.

  • Our readers are inquisitive, open minded and active.
  • We have the power to transform your business.
Before we highlight exactly why you should want to consider advertising with us, it's important that you first discover why you would advertise in the first place! Advertising comes with its very own science which involves building a successful business but, not advertising, can be a mistake that is often overlooked. The main reasons as to why you should consider advertising is very simple:
  • 1. Stay in touch with your customers.
  • 2. Be consistent and appeal to both new and existing customers.
  • 3. If you are not advertising your business to your customers, your competitors will.
When you don’t advertise your business or services you run the risk of being easily forgotten or even replaced. This is why keeping your company image and profile in people's minds is vital.

You can advertise on our broadcasts in the form of jingles or even within our news articles and online content. Our in house voice over team and graphics department can handle everything from simple logo design and voice overs, to full concept design and script writing; simply leave it to us!

If you have journalism experience or even if you don't, but you just love to write, we may have the perfect opportunity for you! The Los Santos News Network is currently accepting applications for a number of journalism positions within our growing media family.

The role is a full-time, salaried position. A successful candidate will understand that news happens around the clock. For example, this is not always a 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday role.

As a journalist for the Los Santos News Network, you will be expected to research and write original news stories. This may involve interviewing residents in and around Los Santos and working to a tight or scheduled timeline and on your own or within a group.

Primary Role Duties:

Research and write news stories and/or features as assigned by management. These news stories and articles will be primarily featured on our online website along with our printed publications.

Participate in weekly discussions with the editorial team regarding story assignments, ideas, and news from in and around Los Santos.

When available, travel to events to conduct interviews, research and/or writing assignments.

Remain up-to-date and informed on news, information, and trends from Los Santos and the surrounding areas.

Skills And Experience:

Journalism/Reporter background preferred.
Full understanding, speaking and writing abilities for English language and literature.
Working knowledge of editorial terminology or trends (but not required).
Graphics/image editing skills a plus (but not required).

How To Apply
We’ll accept applications from qualified candidates via email. You can be formal and send a resumé and cover letter if you want, or you can take the more casual route and just tell us what you think we should know about you. Either way, we’d like to know:

Who you are and what you’re doing now.
Your background in journalism (if any).
Your background in writing (and samples, please).
Why you think the position is a great fit for you.
Why you think you’re a great fit for us.
And so on.

Send your application to [email protected] as soon as possible.
So, if you’re interested, don’t delay. We look forward to hearing from you!
